Where it started
ProTrak started inside CiviClaim, a claims management and billing firm that packages, prices and submits property-damage claims — water, fire, smoke, biohazard — on behalf of restoration contractors. For years that work was done by hand: pulling photos out of text threads, rebuilding moisture logs from memory, chasing the one reading nobody wrote down. The pattern never changed. The work was done. The file couldn’t prove it. ProTrak is that process, built into the day the work happens.
Why it exists
There’s a gap between doing the work and proving it. Contractors lose money in that gap every week — not because the work wasn’t done, but because the file couldn’t show it. ProTrak closes it.
Who’s behind it
A small team that has managed real claims for real contractors, led by founder Tad Timothy. Field techs, estimators and claims managers who have sat on both sides of the review call — and still do.
